What you can expect as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant: Full-time, long-term contract starting in September 2025 Weekly pay between £450£525 (via PAYE) One-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN, SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and speech or language needs Experience working alongside SENCOs, Educational Psychologists, and other specialist staff A strong foundation for careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Teaching, or Speech and Language Therapy Your role will include: Supporting childrens academic and emotional progress throughout the school day Helping with literacy, numeracy, and behaviour interventions Creating a nurturing, consistent presence for pupils who need extra support Assisting in lesson planning and differentiated learning strategies Monitoring pupil progress and adapting your approach accordingly Who were looking for: A Psychology graduate (2:1 or above) from a top UK university Someone with prior experience working with children, either formally or informally A compassionate, patient and proactive individual with an interest in mental health, learning and development A future psychologist, teacher, or therapist looking for hands-on experience in a real-world educational setting If you’re a Psychology graduate looking to take that first meaningful step in your career, this role will provide the insight, inspiration, and real-world knowledge to help you decide whats next.
