56Job Description:Financial Controller – Doncaster – up to £45,000

Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a highly reputable growing business who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller, to manage financial measures ensuring maximum commercial performance.

Financial Controller Responsibilities:

 

  • Check and reconcile all end of day reports with EPOS sales
  • Various weekly/monthly reconciliations
  • Preparing monthly transfers, journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • VAT returns
  • Stock management and reconciliations
  • Prepare weekly/daily forecast
  • Preparation of monthly/yearly cash flows and daily cash management
  • Process new employees and leavers in the payroll
  • Preparation and processing of the end of the year Payroll duties and reconciliation
  • PAYE payments and all information relating to the submission of P11D’s
  • Review and implement controls and processes
  • Manage RTI and Administration of Auto Enrolment
  • Maintenance of finance and EPOS systems

Required Skills & Experience:

 

  • Extensive knowledge of all month end/accounting procedures
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 accounts and Sage 50 payroll are essential
  • Self-starter, uses initiative to problem solve
  • Seeks to implement and improve processes
  • Strong number/analytical and technical skills
