Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence and Security sector, is looking for a Finance Systems Assurance Manager to join BAE Systems – Shared Services on an initial 24-month contract in Frimley and Glascoed.
Where You’ll Make an Impact
As a Finance Systems Assurance Manager, you’ll drive the robustness of finance system controls, driving compliance, and supporting major corporate transformation programmes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Team Leadership & Delivery: Manage a team to deliver effective finance systems assurance, maintaining high standards across controls and corporate reform compliance.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Act as the key interface with GCC, EIT, and GPO, and manage relationships with internal and external auditors to oversee finance system RACMs and controls.
Governance & Programme Support: Support corporate data governance efforts and contribute to the deployment of finance systems controls as part of the Ad Astra programme.
Defence and Security sector Champion: A strong controls culture within finance systems, owning control activities that support Corporate Reform.
Audit & Compliance Management: Oversee audit-related deliverables, including team ownership of quarterly COSA processes using MetricStream, NXG, and E-DOA.
Continuous Improvement: Lead the implementation of audit recommendations and COSA actions, ensuring deadlines are met and compliance is sustained.
