Arbroath-based company Vertex R.A.S Ltd is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various financial duties, including producing management accounts, reconciling balance sheets, managing bank accounts, and overseeing payroll. Additional responsibilities include cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and supervising finance staff. The ideal candidate should be a qualified or qualified by experience accountant with knowledge of Sage. The position offers a salary of £45,000 per annum, flexible home working options, a pension scheme, and 30 days of annual leave. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday.

Job Description:

Vertex R.A.S Ltd is a successful Arbroath company providing shop-fitting, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning services to the Convenience store and Petrol station markets. We have a vacancy for an experienced Finance Manager at our office in Arbroath reporting to the company’s directors.

Main Duties:

  • Production of Quarterly Management Accounts
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Bank payments and control of the company bank accounts.
  • Cash Flow Forecasts and Budgeting
  • Oversee the Payroll
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Company Insurances
  • Fleet Management
  • Assist in Health and Safety
  • Supervise Finance Staff

Key Skills / Experience Required:

  • Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant
  • Knowledge of Sage
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • IT literacy
  • Good Organisational skills and time management
  • Ability to develop processes.
