A client based in Hollingbourne is seeking a Field Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with bodyshops and insurance companies, recording damages that need to be repaired, providing quotations, and calculating repair times. Previous experience as a Bodyshop Estimator/Vehicle Damage Assessor is required, as well as proficiency in using Audatex or Glassmatix. A full driving license is essential, and additional qualifications such as ATA and AQP are preferred. The salary for this position is £40,000 per annum. The working hours are Monday to Friday with flexibility.

Job Description:Field Vehicle Damage Assessor 

• Basic Salary: Circa £35,000 – £40,000 per annum – Dependent on experience
• Monday – Friday – Flexibility within working hours
• Independent Consultant Engineers and Insurance Assesors
• Covering the whole Kent area
• Company Car, Fuel Card, Laptop, Phone, & Broadband Contributions.

The successful Field Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator will be working within a growing Automotive independent vehicle assessing firm.

Our Client requires a talented and efficient Field Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team.

Duties as a Field Vehicle Damage Assessor:

• Liaising with Bodyshop and Insurance companies
• As a Field Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will be recording a list of damages that need to be repaired
• Providing quotations on work to be carried out
• Calculating the time required to complete the repairs
• You will be covering areas such as Ashford, Canterbury, Dartford, Dover, Folkestone, Maidstone & Tonbridge
• Complete image/desktop inspections as required to support our imaging engineers on quieter days in your area.

The successful Field Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator will:

• Have previous working experience as a Bodyshop Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor
• Be experienced in using Audatex or Glassmatix
• A full driving licence is Essential
• An ATA qualification will aid your application to this Vehicle Damage assessor position.
• Willing to undertake additional training ad qualifications such as AQP for salvage categorisation and IAEA membership.

For your hard work as a Field Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) / Estimator our client is offering a salary of £40,000.

Hours of work in this Field Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) role are Monday – Friday – Flexibility within working hours.
