Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Salary: £35000 to £40,000 per annum
Location: Coventry
Hours: 7:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday / 7:30 to 15:00 Friday
A position has become available for an experienced mechanical fitter that has experience working with construction plant machinery to work out in the field.
Day to Day duties will include the following:
Building and modifying machinery from drawings
Using hand tools
Using power tools
working on one off project’s on your own and part of a team
Working to deadlines and putting in the extra work where required
fault finding, diagnostic & repairs on plant equipment
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
2 years’ experience as a mechanical fitter with a proven back round (essential)
Experience working on plant equipment
Electrical experience desireable but not essential
must be able to work from engineering drawings (essential)
be able to problem solve and have a good mechanical background (essential)
must have an NVQ Level 3 in mechanical fitting/plant fittng (Desired)
