Flexibility is essential as shifts include weekends, bank holidays, and potential sleep-ins.
Positivity, friendliness, and innovation are highly valued traits for this role.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Implement individual support plans and activities Maintain effective communication with service users, families, and colleagues while respecting confidentiality Support service users with meals, laundry, cleaning, and social events Keep accurate notes and records as required Work collaboratively as part of a team to provide high-quality care Personal Characteristics Diploma in Health & Social Care NVQ Level 3 (or willingness to work towards one) Experience supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues Ability to remain calm under pressure Confidence to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills Passion for supporting vulnerable adults Commitment to high standards of safeguarding About CareTech CareTech Community Services Ltd supports over 5,000 adults across more than 300 services nationwide.
