The Peninsula London is currently looking for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee operations in its Cigar Lounge and Tasting Room, reporting to the Tasting Room Manager. This role involves supervising the team, ensuring compliance with service standards, and training staff. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of the London Cigar market, with at least one year of experience in a cigar-related business. The position requires a friendly, positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure. Additional language skills are considered advantageous. The Peninsula London is excited to announce that we are seeking a Food and BeverageSupervisor towork within our Cigar Lounge and Tasting Room and report to the Tasting Room Manager, this critical role will beresponsible for supervising the team in relation to all activities, daily tasks and training as per our standards.

Key Accountabilities
- Perform a friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting and waiting on all guests
- Supervise and ensure consistency across all activities in Tasting Room
- Train and support Tasting Room attendants with daily tasks and procedures ensuring all is conducted as per standard
- Understand and accurately follow the standard of sequence of service
- Take on feedback from Tasting Room attendants and ensure communication channels are open and transparent with Tasting Room Master
- Ensure appropriate usage of cigar equipment, tools, and service equipment
- Have relevant knowledge of Cigars and guests expectations
- Utilize the POS system as per policies and procedure in place
- Observe and maintain daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in the Tasting Room and Humidor and make recommendations for corrections and improvement as needed
- Attend and participate at all scheduled meetings and trainings.
General requirements
- Good knowledgeand passion of the London Cigar market and service.
- At least a year within a Cigar-related business.
- Relevant and related hospitality and cigar skills and studies.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
- Friendly and positive with a flexible approach and ability to work under pressure and guide a team.
