We are looking for EYFS Teaching Assistants to be just like YOU.
Our school in Salford require an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
As a Teaching Assistant in EYFS we imagine you are already using your initiative, being creative and being an exemplary role model.
To apply for the role you must have:
- A relevant qualification (for example, NVQ level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) or an undergraduate degree.
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (If you do not hold this, we can arrange for you at a cost of £44, which is refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role.)
- Able and willing to travel to the area
- 2 education-based references
- A passion for teaching/supporting.
- Good approach to behaviour management
- A determined, hard-working attitude.
- Experience with Phonics and Phonics screening desired.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Working closely with the EYFS teacher to ensure children are supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
- Assisting in the delivery of the EYFS curriculum, including planning and leading activities.
- Supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development.
- Monitoring and recording children’s progress and behaviour.
- Supporting the implementation of the school’s policies and procedures.
- Helping to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Assisting with the transition process from nursery to primary school.
