The Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL) is a not-for-profit private members club established in 1910, with HM the King as its Patron. It aims to foster international friendship through a renowned arts and music programme, alongside a diverse events calendar featuring prominent global figures. The Events Operations Supervisor will assist in managing daily operations for various events at ROSL, ensuring exceptional service for members and guests. Ideal candidates should possess relevant experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. We are a unique not-for-profit organisation, and a private members club. Founded in 1910, HM the King is our Patron, and we have a Royal Charter mandate to promote international friendship. We run a highly renowned music and arts programme and have an extensive events calendar including a flagship Public Affairs series with prominent global figures. Our priority is the member experience, when both visiting our historic London Clubhouse and staying overnight, we aim to provide an exceptional home-away-from-home experience. We are a significant meeting place for our global and UK members, as well the diplomatic community in London.
The role: Events Operations Supervisor
Under the direction of the Head of Event Operation and Deputy Head of Event Operation, and within the limits of ROSLs policies and procedures your main role is to assist in the smooth day to day operation of all Events at ROSL including but not limited to; Internal, External and Member – meetings, events, conferences, concerts, dinners, receptions and functions.
We have seven meeting and function rooms available with the largest accommodating up to 200 guests whilst others seat between 2 and 50 people. During the summer, a private garden and terrace adjacent to Green Park is also available.
With excellent customer service skills, the Events Operations Supervisor will ensure a personalised, warm and friendly service to our members, clients, guests and visitors while helping the Head of Event Operation and Deputy Head of Event Operation to drive revenue and manage costs.
Your role will involve effective teamwork and communication with the Event Sales, Kitchen and Food & Beverage departments specifically, as well as all other departments at ROSL, to ensure maximum member, visitor and guest satisfaction, in line with our values;

Previous experience in a similar role in a busy events and/or food & beverage operation
Excellent customer service skills
Good communication skills
An interest in F&B
