Salary: £39,316 – £43,323 (Commensurate with skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
· Performing analysis of system requirements and determine suitability/applicability for integration testing.
· Producing and reviewing test documentation of sufficient quality to be used by the rest of the systems integration test team.
· Configuring test rigs to the correct standard for the tests being performed, ensuring that all changes are recorded and controlled.
· Following agreed processes for updating/configuring all test rigs used in Systems Integration testing.
· Maintaining familiarity with all current tools/SW products/processes used by the systems integration test team and development of Automated Testing within the Team.
· Managing Schedule adherence during Testing to contribute to timely deliveries of the products.
Your skills and experiences:
· HNC/HND in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience.
· Experience of Windows operating systems environments, test processes, database technologies and s/w development knowledge, Requirements Management and Traceability with an understanding of use cases.
· A good understanding of relational databases and the software development lifecycle.
· A pro-active approach to problem solving, the ability to work as part of a team and motivate others, demonstrable performance across the company behaviours, effective communication skills.

The Systems Integration & Test Team:
An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen within the Systems Integration & Test team for an Engineering Sub-systems (ESS) Systems Integration Test Engineer.
As an ESS Systems Integration Test Engineer, you will be assisting the continued development of the Future ESS (FESS) for Typhoon. You will be working within the Systems Integration Test team, testing new software releases and updates to ensure that it meets the required standards. You will be working to improve efficiency and quality of the product to allow optimal operation. This is a UK based role where you will work closely with the ESS Systems Design, Software development, Hardware, and Operations teams.
We are looking for a software tester to join our exciting team of like-minded people within a fast-paced department. The ideal candidate will be creative, agile, and self-driven with a passion for innovation and problem solving, with a collaborative, logical and analytical approach to your work. You will be providing feedback on any potential problems relating to programme achievement as early as possible, to the Team Leader.
