A prestigious engineering company based in Crewkerne is seeking an Engineering Co-ordinator to join their team. The role involves preparing and packing finished products for shipment, monitoring engineering tasks and progression, and communicating with team leaders to ensure workflow remains on schedule. The successful candidate will need excellent planning skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages. Previous experience in engineering or a warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.

Job Description:

Engineering Co-ordinator £26 – 30K + excellent benefits package, Mon – Thurs, 40 Hours, Crewkerne.

We have a fantastic opportunity for ato join a prestigious engineering company based in Crewkerne.

The successful Engineering Co-ordinator will prepare label and pack finished products ready to be shipped to customers. Previous experience of working in an engineering or warehouse environment would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

Your role as a Engineering Co-ordinator your role will include:

• Monitoring engineering tasks and progression using Liquid Planner project management software
• Communication with team leaders to ensure workflow remains on schedule
• Assist in engineering project start up process, collating information and engaging with key stakeholders
• Maintaining and updating general design and development documentation and reports
• Regular customer and supplier communication to provide necessary updates

to be considered for this role you will need to have:

• Excellent planning skills
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail 
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
• Ability to initiate, plan and organise
• Proficient in using all Microsoft office packages
• Previous administration experience.
• Preferably worked in a similar role within engineering
