Job Title: Electrician (Permanent)
Hours: 40 hours per week (to be worked in line with business needs) + Out of hours callout rota
Salary: £36,926 (Full Time Equivalent based on 40 hours) per annum (Plus *Van, Fuel card, Uniform & Tools provided)
Location: Based at Gadbrook Park, Northwich. Working across various locations within Cheshire.
Flexibility to work from a variety of places including our office at Gadbrook Park, Northwich and home (dependent on the job role and the needs of our customer, our organisation and our teams)

The Opportunity
The Trust is looking for a fully qualified Electrician on a permanent basis to work across all the teams within Property Services. We are looking for an Electrician to carry out the full range of Responsive Day to Day, Electrical testing (EICR), Void Property, Planned/Cyclical Repairs and Maintenance Works to various types of properties managed by Weaver Vale Housing Trust. This includes work to commercial premises through the Trust’s trading subsidiary company Weaver Horizons.
What Will You Do?
As an experienced Electrician you will have a proven track record of working within tenanted or domestic properties and the ability to provide a valued and excellent service to our customers. You will need a good knowledge of the building industry, health and safety and excellent customer care skills.
The working week consists of 40 hours, and these hours will be worked between the hours of 08:30 am and 5pm. In addition, you will be required to participate in the Trust callout rota and work within a 30-mile radius of Gadbrook Point, Northwich.
Minimum Requirements For This Role*
- Completed a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship to City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent qualification standard.
- City & Guilds 18th Edition.
- A desire to undertake further qualifications in areas such as health and safety.
- Full UK driving licence.
Due to the nature of the role, a full current driving license is essential. The role will also require the successful candidate to undergo a Basic DBS check.
