Do you believe children learn best when they’re free to explore, get muddy, and connect with nature? Are you ready to lead a passionate team in a truly unique outdoor learning environment?
We’re looking for an *Early Years Team Leader* to join our nature-inspired early education setting based on a beautiful working farm. This is more than just a childcare job – it’s a chance to lead a team in delivering meaningful, play-based learning experiences in the great outdoors.
*About Us:*
Twizzle Tops Marsh Farm combines the magic of farm life with the foundations of early years education. Children spend their days exploring fields, meeting animals and learning through real-world, hands-on adventures. Our ethos is rooted in curiosity, connection, and care – for each other, the animals, and the land.
*Your Role:*
As Team Leader, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the early years provision, guiding a dedicated team to create a warm, stimulating, and safe environment. You’ll lead by example, support staff development, and build strong partnerships with families – all while keeping the needs and well-being of the children at the heart of everything you do.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Lead and inspire a team of Early Years Practitioners
* Ensure high-quality, child-led provision in line with EYFS and farm-based learning principles
* Plan and evaluate engaging, outdoor learning experiences
* Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all children
* Foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and the wider farm community
* Support staff training, appraisals, and professional development
*What We’re Looking For:*
* A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years
* Previous leadership experience in an early years setting
* Passion for outdoor learning and nature-based education
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A calm, confident, and inspiring presence
Bonus points if you love animals, know your way around a veggie patch, or can confidently read a story to a group of muddy, giggling children under a tree!
