61Job Description:Driver – 7.5 tonne
Are you an experienced 7.5 tonne driver looking for a rewarding opportunity in Edinburgh? Look no further! Pertemps Scotland is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in the bustling cleansing department.
Location: Edinburgh West
Hours: Monday to Friday, minute break)
Rate of Pay: Starting at £12.81 per hour
Duration: Ongoing temporary position with an immediate start
Job Duties:
- Work collaboratively in a team of 2 or 3 colleagues
- Operate a 7.5-tonne caged vehicle, road sweepers, and other vehicles as needed
- Handle the movement and loading of wheelie bins
- Assist with special uplifts
- Conduct vehicle checks, ensuring compliance with all legislative and client requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Valid C1/7.5-tonne Driving Licence
- Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC card)
- Digital Tachograph Card
- In-depth knowledge of driving in and around Edinburgh
- Maximum of 6 points on your driving licence
Successful candidates will:
- Be reliable
- Have excellent knowledge on driving around Edinburgh
- Be health and safety conscious
- Have good customer service skills
- Have previous driving experience
