Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:

A client is seeking a Director of Operations for their aparthotel group in London. The role involves overseeing the operational management of the portfolio, ensuring brand standards are met, and working closely with General Managers to achieve revenue targets. Other responsibilities include managing recruitment and training, overseeing auditing and supplier relationships, and monitoring finances. The successful candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in hospitality leadership, a track record of driving success, and experience in Back of House management.

Job Description:

Job Title: Director of Operations – Aparthotels – London

Salary: Up to £100,000

Location: London

My client is looking for a Director of Operations for their aparthotel group. As DoO you will oversee the operational management for the portfolio. You will ensure that the brand standards are met and that the General Managers hit their revenue targets. Along with this you will oversee the Health & Safety and bring structure to the Back of House.


About the position

  • Oversee recruitment and training for the sites
  • Ensure that the staff deliver positive communications
  • Act as an ambassador for the brand
  • Oversee auditing and supplier relationships
  • Manage facilities
  • Monitor finances
  • Work closely with the General Managers
  • Report to the stake holders

The successful candidate

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a leader in hospitality
  • Track record for driving success
  • Back of House management experience
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail
  • Have a hands-on approach and lead by example
