About Our Opportunity
At EMR, we know that how people learn is just as important as what they learn. As we evolve as a business, we are investing more in how we support our people; making learning more accessible, more engaging, and more impactful. That is where you come in.
We are looking for a Digital Learning Content Specialist to join our People Development team. You will work closely with our Head of People Capability, Business Partners, and key stakeholders across the business to design and create digital learning solutions that help our people thrive.
Whether it is behavioural development, SHEQ, leadership, apprenticeships or talent-related content, your work will touch every part of our organisation. With over 65 sites across the UK, there is plenty to get stuck into. You will be empowered to shape how we communicate learning in a fast-paced, industrial business that is going through exciting change.
What You Will Be Doing
Every day will bring something new. One week, you could be building an interactive e-learning module in Articulate 360 for our frontline operational teams. The next, you might be storyboarding a leadership development journey for our future managers, or creating branded digital assets in Adobe Creative Suite to support a business-wide culture campaign.
You will be our go-to person for digital learning design, scoping briefs, collaborating with project leads, developing storyboards and scripts, and ultimately producing polished, on-brand digital learning experiences. From the first conversation to the final upload to Dayforce (our Learning Management System), you will be involved in the full content lifecycle.
We will look to you to stay on top of trends, challenge the status quo, and bring forward new ideas on how we use digital learning to drive behaviour change and performance improvement. You will also play a vital role in mentoring our new Learning Content Creator Apprentice, supporting their development while bringing your own experience to the table.
About You
You are a natural creative with a passion for designing high-quality digital learning experiences. You know how to turn a brief into something engaging and memorable, and you have a keen eye for layout, language, accessibility and user experience.
You bring a solid understanding of learning theory and how adults absorb information; whether in person, virtually, or on demand. You are confident developing content independently using tools like Articulate 360, and you can design compelling visuals using Adobe Creative Suite.
But beyond the tools, it is your ability to build relationships that makes you stand out. You know how to listen, ask the right questions, and turn stakeholder conversations into effective learning solutions. You can handle feedback, manage multiple deadlines, and bring structure and creativity to every project you work on.
Experience using a Learning Management System (particularly Dayforce) is a real advantage, but what really matters is your ability to learn quickly, stay organised, and remain curious. You are someone who enjoys solving problems, exploring what is possible, and making learning better for everyone.
A Few Extras You Should Know
• The role involves regular travel across our UK sites, so some overnight stays will be required
• You will play a key role in ensuring our EMR Toolkit remains fresh, user-friendly, and aligned with our tone of voice and values
• You will help design evaluation mechanisms and gather data to assess the impact of your learning content
