This thriving West Wales business has developed a fantastic reputation for the quality and complexity of their customer specified Mechanical products. They are now looking to increase their design capability and want to recruit a number of Design Engineers to join their expanding Drawing Office.
Role & Responsibilities:
Working alongside a team of Mechanical engineers to design steel / fabricated mechanical systems and equipment from customer specifications.
You will provide bespoke designs (3D design) for a variety of mainly UK based customers, taking the design from the initial specification to manufacture.
You will work closely with a Project Manager on a variety of interesting design specifications and will occasionally travel to client sites to discuss the customer needs.
Within this role you will also be required to work closely with the manufacturing team and provide technical support to other departments and to customers.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
HNC Qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
3D experience, either college or work based
Your design experience must be on some type of mechanical / fabricated steel based products
Benefits Package:
£30,000 – £40,000 starting salary & benefits
Full product training provided, including Inventor CAD courses
Opportunities to progress into Senior Design or Project Engineer / Project Management.
