The Role

To work alongside our existing SENCo team and play a part in the work of our outstanding Learning Support and SEND provision. The successful candidate will be expected to lead, develop and support effective practice for pupils with particular learning needs to ensure they are addressed in the most effective way and, where appropriate, ensure students with SEND make rapid progress in line with the academy’s expectations. Central to this will be ensuring all students with SEND flourish in their emotional development and are supported on their secondary school journey and through to adulthood.

What you offer

You show resilience and motivation to lead the academy through day-to-day challenges whilst maintaining a clear strategic vision, staying positive, and focusing on key priorities. You have the ability to lead, coach and motivate staff within a performance management framework,, including professional development and effective management of underperformance.
