Requirement: We are currentlylooking for a Deputy Manager who can work in our office located inChingford E4 9FA, Monday- Friday.

MainResponsibilities:

  • Manage client enquiries, providing information toprospective clients, and conducting home visits.
  • Attend initial client interviews, assess needs, andidentify risks.
  • Ensure clients receivenecessary information and documentation.
  • Complete and maintain up-to-date clientpaperwork.
  • Manage and monitor carepackages.
  • Follow up on reported issues, recordin the Care planner, and forward to the relevant person.
  • Report activities and concerns to representatives andprofessional networks.
  • Handle complaints inline with the procedure.
  • Recognize, assess,and meet the needs of service users.
  • Liaisewith clients, representatives, care workers, Care Managers, andother professionals.

AdditionalResponsibilities:

  • Ensure care worker visits reflect continuity andflexibility.
  • Ensure visits occur on time withthe right care worker.
  • Update care workers onclient visits, agency policies, and procedures.
  • Receive information/reports from care workers verballyand in writing.
  • Confirm and attend care workerreview bookings and Care Team meetings.
  • Cross-reference actual bookings against planned bookingsfor correctness.
  • Assist in service monitoringand improve client safety.
  • Assist CareManagers in communicating with care workers regarding daily visitsand meetings.
  • Answer calls and messages, takemessages, and divert calls within the telephone system.
  • Log calls in the relevant places forfollow-up.

  • It is a fast- paced environment, the successful DeputyManager will be interpersonally confident and a pro-active teamplayer.
  • Discretion and the ability to handleconfidential matters and sensitively.
  • Have theability to thrive under pressure and good organisational andmultitasking skills.
  • Showcase a high level ofattention to detail and be able to prioritise workload.
  • Have excellent communication skills, always professionaland polite.
  • Competence in Microsoft Officeproducts: Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook
  • Proactive and ability to use initiatives during complexsituations.
