60Job Description:**HEAD ORTHODONTIC NURSE POSITION**
A new opportunity has become available for a Head Orthodontic Nurse to join an established practice located in Clapham Junction, London.
The role: This role requires an experienced Head Orthodontic Nurse. You will be meeting and greeting patients, chairside clinician assistance and any other assigned general nursing duties in compliance with IPC Standards and Guidelines. Additional staff supervision and management duties are required by this role.
Working hours: min 40 hours per week (full-time position)
• from Monday to Friday (as per rota) 7.5/8.75 hours from 08:45 to 17:15/18:30
• and Saturdays from 9:45 – 14:00
Required qualification:
• Completed NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing
• Completed Dental Radiography for Dental Care Professionals qualification
• Completed Certificate in Impression-Taking
• Completed Certificate in Advanced Impression Taking
• Completed NEBDN Certificate in Orthodontic Dental Nursing
• Completed NEBDN Certificate in Oral Health Education Qualification
• Completed Management &Leadership Training
Required experience:
• Must have 2 years of general dental experience
• Must have 3 years of orthodontic nursing experience
• Must have strong dental assistance skills
Consisting of 4 surgeries, they are fully equipped and computerised using AssistOrtho and Doit software. CBCT Scanner, 3D Impression Scanner on site.
Salary is dependent on experience and will be discussed further at interview stage
Closest station is Clapham Junction.
