A niche consultancy focused on D365 implementations is seeking a Solution Architect with a consultancy background in D365 F&O. Unlike other consultancies, their main goal is customer success rather than profit and margin. They prioritize enabling end customers and ensuring they understand change management, data strategy, and building internal teams. The consultancy offers a 9-day fortnight, with every second Friday off, and an additional 20 days of holiday per year. The team values hard work and flexibility. Job Description:If you have a consultancy background in D365 F&O to a Solution Architect level but feel tired that the well being and best interests of customers comes second to profit and margin for the consultancy, then this could be for you.
My client is a niche consultancy focused on advisory and success around D365 implementations, but whose intention and purpose is customer success around D365 programmes and not how to ensure a bench is best utilised – effectively they have no intention of being the next big delivery / implementation partner. With over 80 years knowledge in Dynamics just in the top leadership team, they have worked for many European partners and seen the same issues repeat at all the partners for the best part of 20 years. The bigger the team, the bigger the hole in P&L when a project stalls and people are on a bench. Therefore bottom line, profits and margin are the driving force to everything employees have to do and this results in a reduction of ethics, best people are spread too thinly and the customer well-being comes second to profit.
So if you want to put your F&O knowledge to good use but feel enabling end customers is more exciting, and want daily work that is focused on ensuring they actually understand change management, data strategy, building internal teams so they start an implementation with their eyes wide open – then this could be for you. The type or work covers ERP selection (clearly Microsoft is their niche), requirements definition (what do they REALLY need and WHY as opposed to what can we sell them), Partner selection and even in one client example: how are you 12 months into this project and none of you have a clue where you are going, what good looks like or what the finish line looks like but you still pay monthly invoices to the partner!!!
There is always another partner out there but hopefully this brings your years of experience and still connects with a bigger purpose to add value with your wisdom and expertise.
If the type of work wasn’t enough to be interested, they also do a 9 day fortnight. That means every second Friday is a day off, making the weekend a 3 day one. So whether its extra long dog walks, haircuts, spa days, rounds of golf, study courses or even just leaving on a Thursday evening for a short trip away, the extra 20 days holiday you get a year (on top of the 25) help you reset.
