Pertemps Telford are currently recruiting for a Customer Support Specialist to join our client’s team, on a temp-perm basis, based in Much Wenlock. Working in a small team, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including inbox monitoring, customer service, sales order processing and more!
 
Hours 37.5 hours between 08:00-17:00. Mon-Fri, however, would consider a four-day week for the right candidate.
Salary £11.20-13ph DOE

Duties, not limited to:
 

  • Responsible for monitoring the sales email inbox, processing emails including quotes, orders, and queries. 
  • Telephone calls and take enquiries from existing and potential customers.
  • Use a software to save all relevant paperwork, and ensure each order is fully dispatched, including status and customer invoice.
  • Liaise with other departments in the business including production, warehouse, and accounts.
  • Log complaints and escalate to management for resolution.
  • Print picklists for the warehouse to pick.
  • Refer technical enquiries to the relevant department ensuring it has been following up in a timely manner.
  • Enter dispatches on the haulier portals and print labels, attaching to the matching pallets, and liaising with hauliers to book load and dispatch vehicles.
  • Make up product samples and post out to potential customers at request.
  • Full management of order lifecycle from being placed to dispatch, including sending to production, and dispatching in a timely manner once produced.
  • Take payments via card processing software or similar for applicable orders.
  • Chase ETA’s, report and follow up on delayed deliveries, damages, and claims.
  • Print end of day manifest, ensure the driver signs off.
  • Check picked orders for accuracy before dispatch.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested by management.

Successful Candidate:

  • Will have experience working in an office-based customer service role.
  • Relevant training will be provided, you must have a willing and eagerness to learn.
  • Enjoys working as part of a small team but happy to take on the responsibility for the throughput of sales.
  • Has a flexible approach to work and is happy to go above and beyond set duties when requested.
  • High level of accuracy, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to speak up when issues are identified.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to converse professionally with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Has own means of transport due to location.
