The role involves responding to customer queries, data entry, answering telephone calls, and other administrative tasks. The working hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts available from 8am to 4pm. The pay is £10.42 per hour, rising to £10.58 after 12 weeks. Centric Talent is currently recruiting for a talented Customer Support Assistant to join our client located in Bolton (BL3) to start work on an entry level customer support role.
 
We are looking for candidates who have effective communication, organisational and IT skills and who can demonstrate ability to work in a high-volume busy office-based environment.

Our client is one of the most established names in the UK bathroom industry and truly is your “home for bathrooms”.

They are seeking an organised, dependable, and conscientious individual to join their team supporting predominantly high-volume inbound customer emails that come through and any other admin-based task for their busy transport department.
 
The ideal candidate will have general admin skills, the ability to work at a fast pace and be able to respond to a high volume of customer emails on a day-to-day basis.  This role would be suitable to someone who has previously worked in a high-volume call/email/customer service setting.

This exciting opportunity is temporary to perm.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

As a Customer Support Administration Assistant for this prestigious client, some of the tasks you could expect to be working on are below

  • Responding to a high volume of queries by email and telephone  
  • Data entry
  • Answering telephone 
  • Any other ad hoc admin duties required.
  • Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Customer Support Assistant: Essential Skills 

  • Excellent Microsoft office skills (Word/Excel)
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced admin / contact centre role is essential ideally email based.
  • Good eye for detail
  • Confident using a keyboard. 
  • Strong Verbal and written communication 
  • Organised 
  • Both numeracy and literacy skills at a proficient level  
  • The ability to work well alone, and in a team.
  • Good communication skills 


Customer Support Assistant – Hours of Work & Pay


There is no weekend working required with this role, simply Monday to Friday. 
The shift times available are: 

  • 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday 
  • This role is full time 40 hours per week. 
  • £10.42 per hour rising to £10.58 after 12 weeks.
