A training provider based in Chesterfield is looking to hire a part-time Customer Service Tutor. The role involves training, coaching, and mentoring learners, planning sessions to develop their skills, providing feedback, and keeping records. The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching and delivery to a wide variety of learners, as well as teaching and assessor qualifications. The position offers a salary of £22,000 – £28,000 per annum pro rata, along with additional benefits such as extra days off, a fitness scheme, and a pension scheme.

Job Description:Customer Service Tutor- Part time
Chesterfield based. 2.5 days a week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday half day.
Extra Days + Birthday + Bank Holiday, Fitness Scheme, Pension Scheme
Salary £22,000 – £28,000 per annum pro rata

The company specialise in skills training, apprenticeships, and employment support. As a result of growth, they are now looking to expand their team and bring on like-minded people to work alongside. Therefore, we are now hiring a Customer Service Tutor based in Chesterfield!

Duties & Responsibilities of the Customer Service Tutor

  • Train, coach, and mentor learners through delivery of motivating training sessions in order to support them into the workplace.
  • Plan sessions that develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours of the learners.
  • Provide insightful written and verbal feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Keep accurate record of each learner journey on systems, recording engagement, outcomes, and attendance.
  • Manage own diary, attend team meetings, and complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.


Qualifications & Skills for the Customer Service Tutor

  • Experience in coaching and delivery to a wide variety of learners.
  • Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, Award in Education and Training, PGCE or equivalent)
  • Assessor Qualification (TAQA, CAVA, A1 or equivalent)
  • Functional Skills Level 2
  • Vocational experience within Retail and Customer Service
