52Job Description:Customer Service Representative – Matlock – £25,000
Chase & Holland are excited to be partnering with a global market leading business who are currently recruiting a Customer Service Representativeto join their team. As Customer Service Representativeyou will work closely with the Customer Service Manager and Customer Service Team to proactively handle all customer queries and orders in a timely manner. Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
- Pro-actively handling the processing of all order types with accuracy and timeliness from quotation through to delivery and payment
- Ensuring logistics and sales planning is coordinated with the operations team
- Monitoring and reporting variations to budget and forecast by customer and product, including margins
- Resolving customer complaints with support from internal stake holders
- Staying up to date of export legislation and ensure compliance of all documentation
- Suggesting process improvements as appropriate to support the Customer Service Manager
- Supporting the Customer Service Manager with meeting preparation, including customer visits and SLT meetings
- Coordinating UK and Export hauliers to meet customer demands, ensuring all documentation is accurately processed
- Ensuring Commercial Competition Compliance is understood and maintained
- Controlling customers in line with the framework policy, to include monitoring of exposure and credit limit compliance
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience within a similar commercial customer service and / or logistics role in a corporate environment would be advantageous
- Experienced in a B2B customer service business, combined with strong business acumen
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP would be advantageous
