– Drax Energy Solutions Full time, PermanentLocation – IpswichAre you an experienced compliance specialist with experience in the energy retail/supply sector? About the role At Drax we’re at our best when we’re empowered and encouraged to make informed decisions, take action and do the right thing.
As compliance manager for one of our retail brands you’ll have a big remit with a lot of exposure to the senior leadership teams of those businesses.
You’ll partner with the business providing expert advice and support on existing and impending regulatory obligations.
As well as internal stakeholders you may also represent the business to the regulator and consumer organisations from time to time, so being able to build strong working relationships quickly will be a key skill to bring.
Essentially your responsibility will be to ensure the business operates a consistent compliance framework, help foster a compliance by design culture and support the senior leadership team to manage regulatory risk.

We’re expecting a blend of working at our Ipswich office and working from home.About you Bringing your detailed knowledge and experience of electricity and gas supply regulations, standards, codes and smart meter implementation programs, you’ll be able to take a pragmatic and proportionate approach to risk.
We’ll need your ability to cut through complexity, communicate specialist subject matter to business leaders and influence people to your way of thinking.
