Kerry Group’s UK & Ireland dairy business is hiring a Compliance Auditor on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing standards, providing guidance and support for compliance with quality and regulatory policies, and ensuring adherence to food safety programs and product specifications. The role requires a Diploma or higher in a Food Science related subject and experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of the BRC Global Food Standard and environmental management systems is desirable. The position offers opportunities for career development and access to employee benefits.

About the role

Here at Kerry, we’re currently recruiting for a full time Compliance Auditor on a 12 months fixed term contract (maternity leave).

You will provide guidance and on-going support to facilitate compliance with Quality / Regulatory policies, Food Safety Programs (HACCP) procedures and product specifications.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Auditing all standards in the plant against customer and Kerry standards.
  • Glass and Hard Plastics audits, SOP audits, GMP audits and training.
  • EMP compliance monitoring with the teams.
  • Coaching Team Members in Food Safety and Quality standards.
  • Gap Analysis on customer requirements.
  • Dealing with Customer complaints, Hold Orders and any non conforming products.
  • Working as a team player as part of the onsite Technical team in the DCF plants.

Qualifications and skills

  • Diploma or Higher in a Food Science related subject.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment in a similar role.
  • Fluent English.
  • Numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office tools.
  • Understanding of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.
  • The ability to identify and actively plan improvements and adapt in a changing environment.
     

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the BRC Global Food Standard and H&S Policies and Procedures.
  • Knowledge of Environmental Management systems eg. ISO 14001, 50001.
