The successful candidate will provide safe, evidence-based counselling interventions for children and young people, adhering to safeguarding protocols and promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. Responsibilities include delivering trauma-informed counselling, conducting assessments, and tracking therapeutic progress using evaluation tools. The post-holder will work within our safeguarding protocols to provide safe interventions for children and young people using evidence-based methodologies.

Community Counsellor (Out of hours) In this role, you will: Deliver quality short term, trauma informed and attachment aware counselling Carry out robust assessments referred to CDI by those wishing to seek counselling and by our partner agencies.
Use agency outcome measures, evaluation, and feedback tools to track and record the young persons therapeutic journey.
About You You will: Ba a graduate or post graduate level.
Counselling Diploma or equivalent Be a Registered Member or an Accredited Member of the BACP or another appropriate professional body (e.g.
UKCP, HPC) Have two years minimum duration of personal counselling or psychotherapy.
