Community Care Worker
Location: Travelling between Skipton and Settle using the A65 Corridor , The Grassington Area and The Skipton Area
Salary: £12 per hour weekdays/£12.50 per hour weekends

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Community Care Workers. As a vital part of Dales Community Care, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals within our community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care Assistance:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, ensuring dignity, respect, and independence.
- Medication Support:
- Administer medication as prescribed and provide support with medication management.
- Meal Preparation:
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and ensure dietary preferences and requirements are met.
- Domestic Assistance:
- Support clients with light domestic tasks, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
- Companionship:
- Engage in meaningful conversations, activities, and companionship to enhance the overall well-being of clients.
- Run Start Location:
- Start the run closest to your house to optimize efficiency and reduce travel time.
- Minimum Call Time:
- Ensure a minimum call time of 30 minutes per visit to provide comprehensive care and attention to each client.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Shift Details:
- Two runs a day: 7 am – 2 pm and 4 pm – 10 pm.
- 3 days on, 4 days off shift pattern.

The refer a friend scheme is worth £200 in total. This is split £100 after the person has worked 100 hours and then another £100 when they have passed probation (6 months usually).
