Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer – Fanuc & Mazatrol
(potential supervisory role)
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Oldham
Salary: £15ph to £17.50ph DOE Annual salary from £30,420 to £35,490
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8 till 5pm – Friday 8am till 1pm
10hrs a week guaranteed overtime available all at x1.5 OTE up to £48,000 DOE
Based in Oldham, our client are a family run business with over 50 years experience and are precision engineering specialist, offering a wide range of power transmission solutions.
Job description
The role of CNC Turning, setter operator will include the following duties:
⦁ Programming, Setting & Operating Turning machines.
⦁ Be able to use basic inspection equipment.
⦁ The ideal candidate will:
⦁ Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Turning machines using Fanuc & Mazatrol controls
⦁ Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
⦁ Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor.
⦁ Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the work load of the business.
⦁ Be able to work well on there own as well as part of a team.
⦁ Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
⦁ Professional and self-motivated attitude.
⦁ Good organisational & time management skills.
