Job Title: CNC Turner Dayshift, but could consider Nightshift @ 1.3x rate.

Job Type: Permanent.

Hours: Monday – Friday. 37.5 hours basic.

Location: Finchampstead

Pay: Depending on level of experience and skill, currently unrestricted overtime @ 1.5x rate.

Our client is looking for a CNC Turner to join their busy sub-contract precision engineering company located in Finchampstead. They manufacture high precision components from a variety of sectors including Motorsport, Automotive, Oil & Gas. ISO 9001 Approved.

With continuous investment in the latest machines and technology they offer a truly comprehensive engineering service, including: CNC milling, CNC turning, Sliding Head Turning, Thread Rolling, Gun Drilling & Honing,

Job Responsibilities:

⦁ Set, operate and program Mazak Lathes

⦁ Programming online using Mazatrol

⦁ Work within a team of skilled machinists or independently when required.

⦁ Follow in house and customer based procedures and quality standards.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

⦁ Knowledge of Mazatrol programming language is beneficial.

⦁ Demonstrate a sound knowledge of work holding, tool selection, speed & feeds, quality awareness and time management.

⦁ Work to tight deadlines.

⦁ Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality

⦁ To have a flexible approach

⦁ Apprentice trained (academically) or time served of at least 5 years.

⦁ Holiday 22 days plus bank holidays – rises to 25 days with service
