A CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator is needed in Droitwich, with a pay rate of £16-£17 per hour. The role involves working on parts for various industries, such as gas, breakdown, food, and construction. Job Title: CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator
Location: Droitwich
Pay rate: £16ph – £17ph
Shifts: Days 7.30 – 4pm Monday to Friday (39 hour week)
Overtime rate: x1.5
A skilled CNC Miller/Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator is needed for my client in the Droitwich area, working on parts for gas, breakdown, food and construction.
The right candidate will have knowledge of working to tight tolerances with a background in precision engineering. Having worked with materials such as Steels, Stainless Steels, Nylon and various Castings. Need to be able to problem solve when it comes to setting up parts for milling and turning.

Responsibilities and Duties
⦁ Working on second operations for parts that have come from the turning section. (E.g. PCD drill holes onto turned parts)
⦁ Thinking strategically about how to hold certain parts in setups
⦁ Programming, setting and operating CNC Millers with XYZ controls
⦁ Programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes with XYZ controls
⦁ Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Qualifications and Skills
⦁ Read technical drawings
⦁ Extensive experience in XYZ
⦁ Strong organisational skills – forward thinking approach
⦁ Team player
⦁ Computer-literate
