Hooray are proud to be supporting an established Multi-Academy Trust to assist in the recruitment for a Clerk to the Board of Trustees to join their team on a part-time, term-time only permanent position.

As an Clerk to the Board of Trustees, you will:
- Ensure the board are kept up to date with any governance and/or legislative changes
- Support all Trustees to understand that they are a collective and not individuals
- Support the Chair to ensure the board and its committees events run smoothly and effectively
- Ensure the Trust remains compliant with financial standards, corporate governance and legal practices
- Maintain a register of those appointed to the board of Trustees
- Notify people of relevant vacancies and Trustee recruitment where required
To be successful as an Clerk to the Board of Trustees, you will:
- Have experience in supporting a Board of Trustees
- Be able to build and maintain strong relationships across the MAT
- Hold a working knowledge of the different layers of governance within a Not For Profit organisation
- Be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check
In return, my client is offering an annual salary of up to £40,000 pro rata, per annum. Please note, this is a part-time position, term time only.
