Cleaner

The Catering & Facilities Management Service is seeking to hire an additional cleaner for Carr Hill Primary School to improve cleaning standards immediately. The role requires working from 5:00 am to 7:15 am, Monday to Friday, totalling 11.25 hours, with flexibility for the right candidate. This term-time position includes an additional three weeks for holiday cleaning. While experience is preferred, training will be provided. Responsibilities involve various cleaning tasks and using equipment like buffing machines. The successful candidate will work independently, organise their routine, and be part of a collaborative team. Protective clothing will be supplied.

The Catering & Facilities Management Service is looking to employ an additional cleaner at Carr Hill Primary School, to further enhance the cleaning standards within the site with immediate effect.
You will be required to work between the hours of 5:00am to 7:15am per day, (11.25 hours), however we will consider times of the preferred candidate , Monday to Friday. The post is also a term time post, with an additional 3 weeks holiday clean. We are looking for candidates who enjoy working in a busy environment, as part of a team of staff and who are able to communicate at all levels.
Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Duties will include: vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing of furniture, window cleaning and occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. buffing machine and wet pick-ups.
You will play a vital role as part of a large team of cleaning staff, however, this post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site. Protective clothing and other PPE will be provided as required.
