Shred-it
The HGV Drivers at Shred-it, part of the Stericycle organisation, play a vital role within the transport team, responsible for the collection, destruction, and movement of confidential waste materials for various clients. They work a 45-hour week from Monday to Friday and serve as key customer contacts, completing documentation and issuing certificates of destruction. Candidates should possess a Class 2 Licence and a Driver CPC Card, alongside strong customer service skills. As part of a busy transport team, our HGV Drivers are responsible for the collection, destruction, movement and unloading of confidential wastepaper and electronic storage devices on behalf of various customers within the professional, financial and retail industries.
*Working 45-hour pw Mon – Fri,* You’ll be acting as a key point of customer contact, completing all relevant documentation and issue a certificate of destruction via a hand-held terminal.
A Clear DBS Check Will Be Required
*Ideally, We’re Looking For HGV Drivers With The Following Skills/Background:*
* Relevant driving experience and a Class 2 Licence, along with a Full Driver CPC Card
* The ability to undertake heavy lifting and physically demanding work, involving the safe movement of large wheeled trolleys on and off vehicles
* Excellent customer service skills and plenty of flexibility around working hours
