Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:
Pertemps is seeking a Class 2 (C) Driver with ADR for a long-term position with the possibility of a permanent role in the future. The driver will be responsible for making cylinder deliveries to various customers, and forklift training will be provided. The role requires manual handling and offers benefits such as a 50-hour working week, £19.13 per hour, on-site parking, and 20 days plus bank holidays. The ideal candidate should be reliable, punctual, and have excellent communication skills. Compliance requirements include a valid Class 2 (C) license, ADR certification, and no more than 6 points on their license.
Job Description:Pertemps are looking for a Class 2 (C) Driver with ADR, to Join one of our national contacts on a long term, ongoing position. A permanent role is possible in the future, but this is initially expected to run through Pertemps as an agency position, at least for the remainder of 2023.
The Class 2 (C) Driver role would comprise of a 05:30 start and shifts Monday to Friday with occasional weekend/bank holiday overtime available if desired (Not essential). The working week will average around 50 Hours, with some longer, and some shorter days involved, based requirements of the business.
The successful Class 2(C) Driver will be required to make cylinder deliveries to a range of customers, from Hospitals to Pubs, and our customer is looking for those who can go the extra mile, to promote their business from the front line.
Forklift training will be given, although drivers with a C/B licence currently would be at an advantage. Manual Handling will form part of this role, when unloading customer deliveries.

- Be able to provide two work references.
Compliance requirements:
- Hold a Valid Class 2 (C) Licence.
- ADR
- No More than 6 Points.
- Licence held for 3 years minimum for insurance purposes.
