Class 1 Driver in Sheffield

Ideal Recruit is seeking experienced Class 1 trunking drivers for a well-established client in Sheffield, offering a competitive hourly wage between £18.21 and £24.67. Successful applicants will receive a £250 signing bonus and an additional £250 referral bonus, subject to terms. The role involves RDC to RDC deliveries and requires PPE, including safety boots and vests. Candidates must have a minimum of two years’ experience, a valid HGV Class 1 entitlement, Driver’s CPC, and Digital Tachograph card, with no more than six penalty points. Block bookings two weeks in advance – RDC to RDC deliveries and collections.

Rates of Pay (with holiday pay including):
Mon-Fri – Days – £18.21 p/h.
Mon-Fri – Nights – £19.05 p/h
Saturday/Sunday – Days – £23.55 ph.
Saturday/Sunday – Nights – £24.67 ph.
Additional Information:
Assessment is required, lasting approximately 3 to 4 hours.
You will need to meet the below criteria to be considered for the vacancy:
– HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (category CE).
– At least 2 years of experience as a class 1 driver.
– Valid Driver’s CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
– No more than 6 points for minor endorsements.
