Class 1 Driver

Backline Avonmouth is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for immediate start in the Bristol area. The role involves local deliveries with 2 to 4 drops daily, offering weekly pay of £765, with overtime opportunities. Candidates must possess a full UK Category CE Licence, valid CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, alongside experience in load security and local knowledge. Benefits include Monday to Friday work, a minimum of 9 hours paid daily, up to 28 days of holiday, pension contributions after 12 weeks, and free upskilling courses. Backline Avonmouth are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers starting asap in the Bristol area, working locally usually doing 2 – 4 drops a day; forked on and forked off loads or trunking.
*Weekly Pay – £765 a week with overtime available.*
ABOUT YOU:
* You must hold a full UK Category CE Licence.
* Experience driving HGV Class 1.
* Hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
* Knowledge of load security using ratchet straps and other methods.
* Good knowledge of the local area.
* Clean and professional at all times.
* Good written and spoken communication skills.
