The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for patients, staff, and visitors. Chef de Partie – Private Hospital – Central London – £31k + excellent benefits
This is an opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join the brigade of a private leading Hospital in central London. This is a stunning hospital used by VIPs, High profile people and well known for its high standards of care and ability to ensure the privacy and care required by such people and patients. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, nutritious, and delicious meals to patients, staff, and visitors. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Chef de Partie to contribute to the exceptional standards of dining at one of the leading healthcare facilities in the UK.
SALARY ETC:
- £30,000 to £31,000 + excellent benefits
- Permanent, full-time
- Central London
- Start: ASAP
- Hours of work: 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 per week, Monday – Sunday, working 5 out of 7 on a rota basis.
- Shift Patters: These vary but will be within the 6am to 11pm operating hours of the Kitchen.
- All dishes are freshly cooked in a small and friendly brigade, plated service for patients.
REQUIREMENTS:
- You must have full right to work in the UK
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a professional kitchen environment
- Strong culinary knowledge, creativity, and a deep passion for cooking
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure culinary environment
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- Prepare and cook meals following specified recipes and guidelines
- Assist in menu development, considering dietary restrictions, nutritional needs, and seasonal ingredients
- Manage a designated kitchen station, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Plate and garnish dishes to create visually appealing presentations while maintaining portion control
- Uphold our commitment to delivering meals that meet strict quality, taste, and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen space, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff, servers, and dietary personnel to ensure seamless kitchen operations
- Assist in inventory management, order supplies, and minimise waste
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to support their professional growth
