Pertemps, a specialist recruiter, is looking for a Cash Allocation Team Lead to join their team at their Head Office in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate cash collection figures and sales ledger allocations are provided to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an accounts environment and be numerate, accurate, and an effective communicator. Job Description: 
We are looking for a Cash Allocation Team Lead to join Pertemps Head Office based at Meriden Hall.

Salary:
£27,000 with bonus £28,2000
Location: Pertemps Head Office, Main Road Meriden Hall, Coventry CV7 7PT
Hours: Monday – Thursday 9:00am – 5:30pm and Fridays 9:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)

The main purpose of the role is to:

Support the Cash Allocation Team to ensure accurate cash collection figures, sales ledger allocations and reconciliations are provided to stakeholders.

The key accountabilities of the role are to:

Meet departmental deadlines, resolve payment issues and resolve queries in accordance with department SLA’s.

The critical activities of the role are:

Import bank statements to Accounts Receivable platform
Prepare and distribute daily cash collection figures to stakeholders
Resource planning
Query resolution
Remittance exception handling
Cash posting and balancing
Maintain cash fig and cash books
Credit card receipt processing
Cheque receipt processing
Journal posting
Provide excellent service to customers and stakeholders

The ideal candidate will be:

Numerate
Accurate
Able to lead a busy team
An effective communicator

The ideal candidate will preferably have experience of working in an accounts environment dealing with high volumes of data.
