Building Surveyor

Birmingham

Monday – Friday
£35,000 – 45,000 Per Annum DOE

Ideal Recruit are currently looking for a Building Surveyor on behalf of our client in the Birmingham area. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to work for a reputable consultancy in the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Condition Surveys
• Defect Analysis
• Contract Administration
• Schedules of Condition
• Pre-Acquisition Surveys
• Party Wall & Neighbourly Issues
• Quality Monitoring
• Landlord and Tenant Advice
• Planned Preventative Maintenance
• Vendor Surveys
• Technical Due Diligence

Essential Criteria:

• Must have 5+ years of experience as a Building Surveyor
• Must have experience working for a consultancy
• Ideally you will be chartered, however if you’re not, please still feel free to apply as there is support provided with this from my client
• Must have multi-sector experience in the construction industry, such as residential, commercial, industrial, education, hotel & leisure etc. You wouldn’t need to be experienced in every sector, but having some will help
• Willing to work in the office 5 days per week with travel to sites where needed (most projects quite local)
