Responsibilities
- Lead on the delivery of the Building Safety requirements of a safer future including safety cases, resident engagement and providing assurances at all levels that our buildings are compliant to all legislative requirements
- Acquire, manage, review on an ongoing basis and update the relevant documentation/information (including the four key information products – digital record, Fire /Emergency File , (FEF) Full plans and construction control plan for the building
- Oversight of and coordination with duty holders and contractors on site, including planned maintenance contractors, repair contractors, mechanical and electrical contractors. The Principal Contractor retains responsibility for their works.
- Intervention with contractors if not complying with safe practices on site. Paying particular attention to the requirements of the building fire strategy, fire safety management and upholding the integrity of fire compartmentation
Requirements
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
- Extensive and up to date knowledge of Building/Fire Safety /Health and Safety legislation, and prospective legislation and Consolidated Advise
- Must hold a nationally recognized fire qualification such as Fire Safety Management
- Must be available to attend fire emergencies
Contract
- Initial 3 month contract with the opportunity to extend
- PAYE via Umbrella
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm ( Hybrid Position)
