126Job Description:At *WorkLyf Group*, we are recruiting for a *Bid Writer / Content Writer *for our client based in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
This is an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative Bid & Content Writer to join our client’s fast growing and forward-thinking team. This permanent position would be suitable for someone who is looking combine bid writing, data analysis and marketing activities.
In this position you will coordinate bidding opportunities, including designing, writing, editing and submitting bids. Performing data analysis of existing client data, including categorising data to inform what industries they belong to and how this can be used to choose appropriate marketing content and sourcing bidding opportunities. Producing marketing content across our social media platforms and preparing content materials to promote the company’s services and brand.
*Qualifications*
· University degree, or equivalent, in the respective fields – Business, Law, English, Sales & Marketing
· Specialist courses run by professional bodies in the respective fields – Business, Law, English, Sales & Marketing
*Requirements *
Successful candidates for this job require the following:
· Experience in Bid Writing is essential
· Some experience in Marketing is preferred
· Experience of bid writing in the public sector (ideal but not essential)
*Duties & Responsibilities *
· Coordinate bid opportunities
· Design, write, edit and submit bid documentation with set time frames
· Collect data for bids, the company database and management systems
· Gather evidence to complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ)
· Attending and leading bid and content meetings
· Reporting the feedback from all bids to Directors
· Perform data analysis and categorise our existing client data to inform marketing and bid opportunities
· Produce marketing content across all our social media platforms
· Prepare content materials to promote our services and company brand

· Creative worker
· Ability to work within deadlines
· Strong verbal communications skills
· Excellent written communication skills
· Great attention to detail
· Be proficient in using IT software such as Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office and other software including bid portals
· Have good timekeeping skills with the ability to manage their workload
