Banqueting Sous Chef – Prestigious City Institution | Mon–Fri | £40K + Exceptional Benefits | 6:30am–2:30pm
We are seeking an experienced Banqueting Sous Chef to join the culinary team at a distinguished City of London institution. This is a Monday to Friday position offering excellent work-life balance and the opportunity to work in a well-structured, professional environment.
You will be responsible for preparing daily staff meals as well as supporting the delivery of high-quality banqueting and private functions.
The Role:

Prepare and deliver daily staff lunches in line with seasonal menus and budgets

Assist in the planning and execution of banqueting events and functions

Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with Food Safety Level 2, HACCP, and allergen regulations

Carry out daily temperature checks and ensure all kitchen records are accurate and compliant

Manage stock and coordinate your section for efficient service and minimal waste

Support the Executive Chef and uphold standards in their absence

Contribute to staff training and kitchen development
The Package:

£40,000 per annum

Monday to Friday – no weekends

Working hours: 6:30am to 2:30pm (40 hours/week)
