We have a new Senior People Partner opportunity to work within the Women’s and Children’s specialty and are seeking applications from progressive-thinking, people-centred leaders.
Reporting into the Associate Director of People for the Hospital site and in conjunction with the Hospital Executive team, you will ensure we drive the short and longer-term people priorities to support the Trust’s ambition as well as providing attention to local priorities, challenges and opportunities in an aim to create the best and safest place to work. It is an exciting time to join us to help with truly supporting with scoping and shaping the people journey and workplace culture in enabling our teams in providing excellent patient care. You will be fundamental to the developing of people strategies, address key people priorities with a person centred, solutions focussed approach. You will enable movement in employee experience and engagement, workforce planning and development, succession planning, attraction, recruitment and retention; workforce design and change; culture and inclusion and employee relations.
Main duties, tasks & skills required
You will work with people data to identify themes and trends and proactively make recommendations that lead and drive positive change along with the Associate Director of People. You will provide professional expertise to coach your team to minimise risk in employee relations matters.

Qualifications
Essential
* Graduate CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and development) or equivalent post graduate Level 7qualification/training/experience to Masters level or equivalent
* Evidence of continuous professional development
* Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or equivalent experience
Desirable
* Leadership and Management
* Coaching and Mentoring

Experience
Essential
* Significant recent operational HR experience including leadership and management.
* Experience of leading the workforce elements of local change and transformation programmes, including advising managers on complex change processes such as restructuring, redundancy and TUPE.
* Experience in applying a business partner approach – working with managers to develop services and applying HR expertise to provide solutions to complex people issues,
including absence management, organisational change, recruitment and retention, inclusion and diversity and workforce planning.
* Experience of undertaking complex investigations into MHPS, disciplinary, grievance and bullying and harassment, including supporting formal panel hearings.
* Experience of working in partnership with Trade Unions towards shared goals with evidence of achieving organisational outcomes.
* Experience of developing and implementing HR policies and procedures as well as people management training
* Experience in promoting the equality and diversity agenda – able to evidence achievements in relation to organisational equality and diversity objectives
* Experience of advising managers on complex change processes such as restructuring, redundancy and TUPE.
* Experience of preparing, analysing and presenting reports.
