Our Band 5’s have the opportunity to experience rotations within the areas of major trauma, acute medicine, specialist surgery, oncology & haematology, health care for older people, stroke and neurosciences.
You should have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach and the ability to work autonomously in a busy hospital environment.
Organisational and time management skills are essential. You will need to have experience of working within the Acute NHS.
You will have access to regular clinical supervision, support to complete the preceptorship programme, and a range of CPD opportunities including in-house training.
This post comes with the support of our team and managers. This is extended by support from our School of Nursing, AHPs and Midwifery. Main duties, tasks & skills required
Excellent communication skills, a flexible approach and the ability to work autonomously. Organisational and time management skills are essential.
The individual will have essential prioritisation skills and demonstrate client centred practice and demonstrate an understanding of the OT process within the Acute Hospital setting.
The individual should have relevant clinical experience specific to the post, and you will need to have experience of working within the Acute NHS as well as working within a multi-disciplinary team.

*BSc in Occupational Therapy / Diploma in Occupational Therapy
*Current registration with the HCPC.
*A levels or equivalent qualification
*Good standard of general education including GCSE maths and English grade C and above.
*Evidence of CPD

*Demonstrates relevant clinical experience within an NHS Acute setting.
