38Job Description:Position: Band 6 Audiologist
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 3 Months
Shift Pattern & Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Essential Requirements:
- NHS Experience: Previous experience working within the NHS is essential.
- RCCP Registration: Must be registered with the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists (RCCP).
- Driver’s License: Must be a car driver to facilitate travel between sites.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting audiometric assessments and hearing evaluations.
- Diagnosing and managing hearing disorders.
- Fitting and tuning hearing aids.
- Providing counseling and support to patients.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
