A fast-growing breakfast and lunch grab-and-go concept in Central London is seeking an Assistant Manager. The role offers a salary of up to £28,000 plus a 20% bonus. Responsibilities include leading and inspiring the team, recruiting and managing staff, handling performance management, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing financial aspects, and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the gran and go, QSR, or café environment, exceptional communication and leadership skills, a customer service orientation, and a strong understanding of business financials.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Manager – 40hrs – Daytime Hours!
- Inspire and lead the team by exemplifying a standard of excellence.
- Cultivate a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and mutual respect.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage staff members.
- Handle performance management and implement disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Organize team meetings to celebrate successes and address challenges.
- Ensure each customer feels valued and satisfied.
- Manage financial aspects, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Monitor and reduce operational costs, such as COGS and labour.
- Analyse sales data to optimise staff schedules for cost management.
- Ensure food and beverages meet high-quality standards.
About the Assistant Manager – 40hrs – Daytime Hours!
- Proven experience within Gran & Go, QSR or Café environment for at least 2 years.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Strong understanding of business financials.
- Strategic decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Passionate about food and product innovation.
