A superb new opportunity has arisen for a bright, motivated and hughly numerical Trainee Accountant, to join a successful and friendly finance team.  This role would suit someone with experience within an accountancy setting, looking to work with the Finance Manager in supporting the running and growth of a global firm.

The purpose of the role is to support the Finance Manager in providing financial information, reporting and analysis to the Managing Director of the business, helping them make more informed decisions and business strategy.

Key responsibilities;

• Production of month end management accounts
• Production of various financial reports, including but not limited to
• KPI reporting
• Departmental cost reoprting
• Sales and order margin analysis
• Purchase and usage variance analysis
• Stock analysis
• Debtors and creditors analysis
• P&L and balance sheet forecasts
• Understand and adhere to deadlines and requirements

for all of the above, and ensure all are adhered 

• Support for production of the budget
• Support with cash forecasting and cash management
• Support growth of the business at all levels including;
• Large project costs tracking support
• Assist with annual audits and be one of the main points of contacts for the auditors
• Prepare calculations of transfer prices and minimum selling prices when required
• Other duties and expectations, provide uspport to the finance team, help to provide cover in perdios of absence
• Adhere to the company financial policies and processes
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.

• Good level of competence in Excel
• Accurate, efficient and the ability to organised and manage own workload
• Ability to work through large volumes of data
• Self-motivated and keen to develop with a willingness and desire to learn
